About Ta'Boris

Ta’Boris Osborne, M.S., LMHC, provides his clients with evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centered care. He utilizes an eclectic approach heavily rooted in cultural competency and the relationship between thoughts, emotions, physiological sensations, and behavior. 

 

A graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in classics with a Latin emphasis. During his program at the University of Mississippi, he engaged in research alongside professors regarding systems of power, personality, chronic pain, and piloting a program for a local school’s cyberbully prevention. As a Ronald E. McNair Scholar, he continued his education at Washington State University’s Doctoral Clinical Psychology Program, emphasizing clinical child psychology. After completing his Master of Science en route to his Ph.D., Ta’Boris left the university to begin working as a counselor four days after defending his Master’s thesis. To gain further experience and an understanding of the mental health system, he worked in private practice, community mental health, inpatient psychiatric services, and residential mental health services.
